Just come back from a week in Playa Blanca and have to say the weather wasn't great but our lunches and afternoon cakes each day were great at Cafe Aroma. Big HI to Kareena and Macky for being such great hosts and for looking after our little ones when we wanted to just enjoy that wicked chocolate cake of yours!
Good luck we know its tough but am sure you'll do OK - you made more effort than everyone else we met all week!

I can't get enough of this place! The only british style sandwich cafe in the resort makes a nice change from the fried servings of everywhere else! But even though with the best intentions I head down for a healthy sandwich, salad or jacket potato I'm always tempted by the evil cake fridge where Mackie (new owner) puts his fantastic home made cakes.
Definitely worth a trip if you are stopping in Playa Blanca (and even if you are not) just do me a favour and NEVER (I do mean NEVER) take the last slice of Lemon Meringue Pie as I might be down behind you and will be very upset!

THAT LUNCH WAS THE BEST LUNCH WE HAVE EVER HAD FROM CAFE AROMA, IT WAS GOOD BEFORE BUT WHOEVER DID THE PREPARING TODAY OF THE JP?S ETC WAS BLOODY BRILLIANT - AND DELIVERED TO THE OFFICE TOO - RESULT! |

We can't thank Crissie and the ladies for looking after us for our lunches nearly every day we were on holiday. Our little ones were spoilt rotten by Crissie who always came for a quick play even when she was so busy.
Good luck Crissie and I hope that lots of people come and enjoy everything that you gave to us.

What can I say ... OK there is no Greggs on the island but the hot sausage rolls straight out of the oven are to die for here! Only place that does sandwiches and stuff to take away and above all its really tasty and cheap! 10 out of 10 for a good Breakfast roll to wake you up or a good lunch! Oh and I must say they are the only place in Playa Blanca with Ben & Jerrys ice-cream ... mmm cookie dough! |
