Found this restaurant on this actual Website and was not disappointed. We went there to celebrate my Husband's Birthday on Good Friday and it was absolutely superb - best tasting food we've ever had. Went back on our last night and again it was fantastic. The Staff are very friendly and it has a non-smoking section, which is a big bonus in our opinion. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visting Playa Blanca and will certainly eat there again when we return to Playa Blanca in the future.

Whilst in Playa Blanca we struggled to find a restaurant that is of the standard of fine dining we expect in the UK. La Bocaina outstripped our expectations and provided not only one of the most stunning restaurant interiors in the resort but a fantastic fayre of food. I do wish they could show so much on the outside of this restaurant what they are about as although recommended by hotel staff I was put off by the exterior but as my wife politely said "we are looking out from here and not looking in dear". A pleasant lounge to enjoy an after dinner drink made this so much more than just the fine dining experience we were craving. Please pass our warmest regards to Nina and Paul should you visit them and tell them that Malcolm and Pauline will be back to visit them in 2009.

Came on hols with my mates to Playa Blanca and popped in to La Bocaina for their early bird deal ... great for topping up before a night in the bars with good plates full for ?12 for 2 courses. Love ya guys - Bet you're glad us girlies were out of your posh place early each nite eh? Soph x

Just come back from Playa Blanca last night and had to tell anyone else going out to go and visit this restaurant. Great food in a really relaxed place. We'll be back! The White Family from Las Brisas

After visiting many restaurants in the Playa Blanca area, it was very refreshing and exciting to find an establishment that serves such fine cuisine in a great atmosphere! i'll be back thanks again for a memorable evening. p.s lamb is to die for!!!!

Unfortunatly we did not find La Bocaina until the end of our holiday when we were recomended by a number of locals to dine in a "refined resteraunt" the food was exellent and the staff were freindly . A clean and very modern place which myself and Audry thoroughly enjoyed a teriffic dinner. The children especialy liked the fishcakes whilst we recomend the scollaps followed by the serloin steak with diane sauce and homemade chips.We will definetly return next time...Highly Recomended!!

I've been to La Bocaina today to try the new menu and wished that I could have tried more and so I'll be back tomorrow! The new ribs were awesome and Paul won't tell me the secret recipe and the Fillet steak in Bearnaise with new potatoes was such a nice change, with some green beans and buttered carrots - fresh vegetables on a plate in a restaurant in Lanzarote! Fantastic! Great job Paul & Nina see you tomorrow I know what I'm gonna have! Jim

Having walked passed La Bocaina Restaurant several times on our way to the seafront, we decided to give it a try. Our only disappointment was that we hadnt tried it early. We had a wonderful meal, and a great laugh with the staff. Truly the best food we had all holiday.

We came here for Christmas dinner . It was there first time at an Christmas diner, but they did a fantastic job. The food was absolutely fantastic. With the deep fried camembert a sheer delight. We had the biggest table there with a party of 21, and we were all made welcome. Many thanks for a great day Yours peter

this is definatly the best resturant we visited while in playablanca! both the food and staff were amazing and i will definatly be recommending this place to anyone i know going out there! thanks alot and keep it up! xx meggie xx
