What a super bar! Cheap drink and all the sport you need. Nice to find such a friendly bar with great service. Many thanks to Helen and all the staff at Wax Bar will see you next year. PS..........the kids loved playing the free nintendo wii and wi-fi.

What credit crunch or worry about the Euro! Just had a week in Playa Blanca and found the cheap bar ( you could tell cos it was full of locals) ... head down to the seafront where the big beach and Burger King is then come in to the centre and WAX is just there! Seriously this place was half the price (50% cheaper!) than so many other bars in the resort ... had sun, sangria and not gonna mention the rest but couldn't have had so much fun without this bar!

This bar is ok bit to much like an internet cafe for me with lots of people with laptops in there, good sports on tele when you can get in there for all the internet buffs.

Stayed in Playa Blanca in July 08 and ended up in WAX whenever we wanted a drink. Cheap drinks, good atmosphere, exccellent staff, n lively on the weekend! Also shows ALL the sport due to its 3/4 TVs & will even find what you want to watch if there's a TV free. Suited us down to the ground! Also good for checkin email's n makin friends jealous! What a bar ... just spent a week in Playa Blanca and had the absolute best time with all the guys at WAX. I can't believe how many Dutch reps they get in here ... there are more fit blondes in Wax some evenings than there are in the rest of Playa Blanca! We would just like to thank Phil and his team for the fantastic attention they have given us over our xmas holiday at Wax. With the karaoke and comedy nights and of course all the prizes we won at the Xmas eve party then my kids are asking when we are going back out to WAX not on holiday! If you go to Playa Blanca then you mustn't miss out on the Wax bar! Thanks!

Just spent a week in lanzarote, we went into Wax Bar on the second day found out it was showing the england rugby and football on the saturday, that was it we had found our regular for the week. We couldn't go a day without going in for a beer, which isn't suprising considering the prices, 100 shot selection, great food and excellent bar staff. It has the most comfortable and friendly atmosphere, Phil (the owner) is a top bloke and makes an effort to talk to everybody. If you ever go to PB visit Wax, don't see how anyone can't like it, whats not to like!!! We will definately visit again!

just got home from my hols in playa blanca, just though i should leave a review about WAX bar as i went there every night, me & the misses loved it, all the footy, F1, cheers 4 a great week (loved watching utd beat chelsea)

Jst spent a weeks hol' in Playa Blanca - really nice place, despite being off-season. Wax bar was a favourite (have to admit to knowing Phil/Chrishy personally) - it really 'hit the spot' - I'll recommend it for a relaxing atmosphere, good varied music, great staff, good prices and excellent sports coverage. Keep it up Phil, it's a winning formula!
